Dr. Mahmut Kaskaloglu is a professor of ophthalmology and the founder of Kaskaloglu Eye Hospital. He has devoted 34 years of his life to teaching and practicing ophthalmology. In addition to personally performing more than 2000 eye surgeries every year, Dr. Kaskaloglu also attends and speaks at conferences around the world. He is a graduate of and faculty member at Ege University in Izmir and is also a member of several international organizations, including the European Society of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He is also the founder and past president of the Black Sea Ophthalmological Society. Dr. Kaskaloglu is considered a leader in ophthalmology in Turkey and abroad. He has given lectures and performed surgeries for teaching purposes in many countries. Dr. Kaskaloglu lives in Izmir with his family.
