Kaskaloglu Eye Hospital specializes in refractive eye surgery, including LASIK with IntraLase and wavefront correction, an outpatient procedure used to treat common eye problems such as farsightedness, nearsightedness and astigmatism. The hospital’s surgeons also specialize in cataract surgery, a relatively quick treatment of a problem that affects about half of people over age 65. Our History
The hospital was founded in 2000 by Prof. Mahmut Kaskaloglu, a doctor with more than 34 years’ experience both practicing and teaching ophthalmology. In addition to personally performing more than 2000 eye surgeries every year, Prof. Kaskaloglu also attends and speaks at conferences around the world. He is a graduate of and faculty member at Ege University in Izmir and is also a member of several international organizations, including the European Society of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
